Responsibilities:

  • Assist and work together in support of all the CCC activities with the clinical officer.
  • Integration of healthcare services to CCC target areas-CWC, family planning and other clinics.
  • Support of the community component of program including outreaches and mobilization for care and support.
  • Organize follow up of clients who have defaulted treatment and care.
  • Lead and support educational sessions at the CCC.
  • Support the formation and management patient support groups at the CCC.
  • Triage clients at clinic.
  • Provide skilled nursing procedures (i.e dressing changes).
  • Attend and participate in team conferences as requested.
  • May act as a team leader to assist with the provision and supervision of patient care.
  • Charts notes and medication administration according to protocol.
  • Exercises appropriate judgment and decision making skills.
  • Ensures the maintenance of patient confidentiality.
  • Administers medication as ordered within the scope of practice of the licensee.
  • Performs phlebotomy and/or initiates intravenous infusions as ordered (provided is certified).

    Education and/or Experience

  • Diploma in Nursing from a recognized medical training college;
  • Registration by the nursing council of Kenya.

    AIDS Healthcare Foundation Marketing Manager Vacancies in Kenya

    Responsibilities:

  • Develop, roll out and monitor AHF Africa Bureau Marketing Strategy to maximize public awareness / engagement, advocacy and behavioral change.
  • Coordinate the development of, and roll out of country marketing key performance indicator’s and monitoring tools to evaluate and measure the impact of marketing plans.
  • Develop and roll out country protocols for marketing work during emergencies and duress
  • Develop best practices in key population sensitive marketing.
  • Ensure that marketing is focused on people – the communities we serve, and the impact of our collective action with more participatory and interactive approaches.
  • Carry out audience mapping to include key populations
  • Develop tool kit and material based on existing AHF branding guidelines to support identity building and branding
  • Develop, maintain and grow digital media usage and platforms such as website, twitter, Facebook, and SMS usage
  • Review all documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy before final prints

    Education and/or Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business related field from an accredited University.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in health marketing
  • Sustained experience in popular mobilization and events management work at a National and International level.
  • Proven experience in relationship building, partnership formation and management.
  • Familiarity with the relevant countries’ marketing and advertising laws and procedures.

    Skills and Specifications

  • Extensive knowledge in every aspect of marketing strategies to achieve the organizations objectives.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and clientele requirements.
  • Graphic Design and layout - Must be proficient in Adobe CS & Microsoft Office software
  • Website designing and management – Skills in WordPress or similar CMS, and/or HTML/CSS a plus
  • Video production and editing
  • Photography and photo editing
  • Excellent Communication and Public Relations skills
  • Proven ability to create, develop and implement strategic events and tactics.

    AIDS Healthcare Foundation Global Director of Data & Analytics Vacancies in Kenya

    Responsibilities:

  • Work with AHF country program data managers to ensure high-quality data.
  • Set-up and manage databases of global program data
  • Form and oversee the Global M&E unit which will be responsible for the Provider Productivity Report and Quarterly Report.
  • Provide long-term in-country support for coordination and scale-up of data management systems.
  • Work with global monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and quality teams to develop and implement tools, systems and processes that will improve data collection, management and analysis
  • Work with AHF’s financial department to compile documents modeling, projecting and monitoring the financial growth within AHF’s global programs.
  • Provide short-term data management and analysis technical support to sites, countries and bureaus.
  • Provide training and support for global program data systems and staff.
  • Initiate analysis and prepare reports based on changes in data quality and availability and identify reporting needs within AHF.
  • Analyze quantitative data from country programs for internal and external reports, papers, and presentations.
  • As part of the Global Technical Team identify, prepare and disseminate best-practices and successful program interventions.
  • Provide assistance in designing operational research data collection and analysis efforts.
  • Travel to AHF country programs in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America and work with local staff. The position requires up to 40% travel time.
  • Participate in regular meetings and telephone calls with AHF’s global staff.
  • Manage and submit regular data reports that monitor country programs, including quality indicators.
  • Collaborate with the Global Technical Team, Bureau Chiefs, Country Program Managers, M&E officers and external consultants to monitor and evaluate program efforts.
  • Meet regularly with the Chief of Global Medicine and the Africa Bureau Chief to discuss results of data analysis and plan action steps to build on strengths and address weaknesses.

    Qualifications:

  • Completed Master’s degree or equivalent, in statistics, computer science, economics, public health, or similar field with statistical training with four or more years of related experience;
  • Experience in quantitative data collection, management, and analysis;
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in statistical software program(s), database software,
  • Microsoft Access, and Excel;
  • Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently in English;
  • Experience managing multiple tasks, showing initiative, and working with limited supervision;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Availability outside of regular office hours for activities and meetings, as needed;
  • Ability to practice discretion with confidential matters;
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural international environment;
  • Possess a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
