A4HU Mityana Field office with frequent travels to Head Office in Kampala

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Officer Business & Marketing will support, the capacity-building initiatives for the youth and stakeholders in the communities and at the Bonita Training Centre.

Responsible for activities in 50 Youth Clubs and 5 YECs and the wider community;
ensures timely planning and implementation of the program; submits activity reports to the A4HU Project Manager.

Responsible for entrepreneurship-related activities

General areas of responsibility

Conducts training in marketing

Ensures that Youth Clubs and YECs have financial literacy and business skills

Coaches and mentors youth entrepreneurs to manage their enterprises and connects them to business opportunities

Assists YECs in fundraising activities.

Ensure that youth and stakeholders’ training are well coordinated.

Any other duties assigned.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.

2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position job.

Knowlegeable of curent business trends and markets.

Experience in designing viable business initiatives.
