A Greedy and Cruel King

by Ali Khan
(Karachi Pakistan)

A long time ago in a distant land, there was a boy who was the son of a cruel king.

This king was so cruel that he liked to box the poor boy's ears. The boy was innocent, I tell you. He did nothing wrong. Well he may have been taking food from the cupboard, but only because the king would not let him eat. The king found him stealing an apple from the cupboard and boxed his ears. The boy was almost deaf.

The king soon married a most beautiful woman. Her name was Marry the Pure. (Her middle name is the and her last is Pure, nice name lol) This beautiful young woman truly loved the king but soon found out that the king hurts poor innocent children. "The boy is almost deaf!" she yelled at him, "He could really be hurt! Why would be boxin' your own son's ears? Do you truly have a right to be the king if you are so menacing?" The king was hurt. His name was Richard the kind. (Don't ask me how he got that name because when he was born he bit his mom's big toe) The king truly did not belong on the throne.

He had a twin brother, the king did. His name was Henry. He was the rightful king, but tragedy was to come to him. At the time, they were the twin princes, and they did get along. (Even if Richard was a big codfish.) Their father told them that Henry was to become the heir to the throne. Richard did not like this at all. He planned to kill his own brother. He went to his room and started writing in his journal many mischeivious things to do to his brother.

He planned to drop a bucket on his head that was full of bricks, but he decided against it for it was too much like a prank. He instead thought of stabbing him while he was sleeping. While henry was sleeping he stabbed him in the throat, He then proceded into making the murder look like Henry killed himself. That he did. He positioned his arms to make it
look like he stabbed himself in the throat. He then shut his eyes.

The next morning Richard woke up to the sound of his mother screaming. He smiled. He knew that he would soon become the king. He knew that his mother would think Henry killed himself. Richard KNEW that he would one day be the conquerer of the world. He thought this but he really didn't conquer the world. He only became king.
