Krystle Kabare Scholarships for the Disabled

Scholarship Eligibility:

To be Considered for the Krystle Kabare Scholarship, You Must:

  • Be a Kenyan citizen living with a disability
  • Have already attained an undergraduate Upper Second-Class Honours Degree or above
  • Be proficient in spoken and written English
  • Have an acceptance letter to a Master’s programme at The University of Nairobi for September 2023 Applying to study a course within the fields of Public Health, Anthropology, Economics, Sociology, Social Statistics or any other relevant field relevant to working in social policy
  • The Scholarship programme does not discriminate based on age, race, colour, sex or religion.
  • The Scholarship is not open to Development Pathways employees, consultants or family members

    How to apply

    To apply for the Krystle Kabare Scholarship, please email the following items to scholarship@developmentpathways.co.uk.

  • A duly filled application
  • An undergraduate certificate showing that the applicant has an Upper Second-Class degree or above.
  • Proof of admission into a Master’s degree programme
  • Two letters of reference (at least one academic)
  • Proof of Kenyan citizenship
  • Certification from the National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD)

    Scholarship Recipient Notification

  • Upon receiving confirmation, a formal acceptance via email, as well as an official certificate of good conduct from The Directorate of Criminal Investigations, will be required to confirm the Scholarship.
  • Due to the anticipated high volume of applications we expect to receive, we are unable to provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
