1. Moi University Chief Internal Auditor Jobs in Kenya
- Scale 15 (1 Post) MU/ADM/1/2/2017

Job Description
The Chief Internal Auditor will be answerable to the Vice Chancellor for:- Advising the University Management on all operational and financial matters, overall formulation and implementation of the audit strategy, review, planning, coordination, design, implementation, development of auditing services and systems, setting and maintaining high accounting standards in the University, and efficient organization, control and supervision of all auditing units.

Job Specification for Serving Officer
  • Served in the grade of Deputy Chief Internal Auditor for at least a period of 3 years.
  • A relevant Master’s degree from a recognized University
  • CPA (K) and should be a registered member of ICPAK or an equivalent professional body.
  • Practical knowledge of ICT
  • Consistently demonstrated outstanding qualities for leadership, coordination and organization capabilities at top management level.
  • Ph. D in a relevant field will be an added advantage

    Job Specification for Direct Appointment
  • A relevant Master’s degree from a recognized University
  • CPA (K) and 15 years’ relevant experience, at least 5 years of which should be as Deputy Chief Internal Auditor or equivalent position
  • Should be a registered member of ICPAK or an equivalent professional body.
  • Practical knowledge of ICT
  • Consistently demonstrated outstanding qualities for leadership, coordination and organization capability at top management level.
  • Ph. D in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

    In addition to the qualifications set out in the constitution and the enabling statutes, the applicants for both serving officers and direct appointment, must meet the requirements of Chapter six of Kenya Constitution by providing relevant certificates from the following bodies:-
    - Director, Ethics an Antis corruption Commission (EACC)
    - Commissioner General, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
    - Chief Executive Officer, Higher Education Loan Board (HELB)
    - Certificate of Good Conduct
    - Credit Reference Bureau African Ltd or Metropol Credit reference Bureau.
    - Professional Bodies (where applicable) to which the applicant belong.

    Kenya] - Scale 13 (1 post) MU/ADM/6/2/2017

    Job Description
    Duties and responsibilities at this level will involve drafting of complex legal documents and generally handling all legal matters affecting the University in addition to advising the University on the same.

    Job Specification for Direct Appointment
  • Have a master degree in law from a recognized university
  • Must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate.
  • Have 8 years experience in a similar or equivalent position or in legal practice.

    Job Specification for Serving Officer
  • Have served in the position of legal officer for a period of 3 years (for those with a master degree in law) or 5 years (for those without a master degree in law)
  • Have shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
  • A master degree from a recognized university will be a definite advantage.
