5. Engineering Stores Controller

Job Description
This role will be based in Nairobi Bottlers Embakasi, Kenya and will report to the Reliability Engineer.

The overall purpose of of the Engineering Stores Controller is to run the maintenance stores in order to support maintenance execution

Key Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will be;
1. To plan, control and manage materials and the stores team.
2. Optimization the working capital. Continuously analyse spare parts usage and assigning the correct reorder levels.
3.Stock take management and ensuring SAP data integrity.
4.Carrying out stock audits and generate reports as required.
5. To conduct performance reviews of stores team and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.
6. To develop, motivate, communicate and ensure discipline within the stores team.
7.Ensure high housekeeping standards.
8. Drive TPM and ensure safety requirements as per Coca-Cola KORE requirements.

Skills, Experience & Education
We are interested in candidates with:
a)Higher National Diploma / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical).
b) He / She has experience in machinery stores management.
c)Experience in SAP Materials Management is an added advantage.
d) He / She should demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills.
e) Outstanding of planning, organizing and controlling skills.
f) Demonstrate understanding of occupational health & safety
g) Have a passion on Continuous Improvement
h) Excellent interpersonal and Team Leadership skills and customer focus.
i) 2 years experience in an FMCG set up is an added advantage.
