1. Driver

Direct Reports to:-
Senior Administrative Officer

Job Purpose
The transport function basically involves driving duties; routine checks and maintenance of
the vehicle; maintenance of work tickets; detecting and reporting any malfunctioning of the
vehicle’s systems; security of the vehicle on and off the road; safety of passengers and/or
goods; carrying authorized passengers and/or goods; cleanliness and overall vehicle
maintenance and management; scheduling of vehicles for official transport duties; and
insurance of vehicles.

Duties and Responsibilities
a) Demonstrate safety to own passengers, occupants of other vehicles and other road users
including pedestrians.
b) Work according to schedules in work-tickets. No unauthorized journeys and deviations.
c) Ensure that the assigned vehicle is kept clean at all times.
d) Check the levels of fluids in the vehicle – water, engine oil, brake fluid, fuel, transmission
oil – and top them as necessary.
e) Report vehicle defects for repair; and ensure that the vehicle is serviced as scheduled.
f) Take all necessary actions to ensure that the vehicle is safe and secure at all times.
g) Ensure that goods are transported securely and delivered timely. No unauthorized goods /
passengers.

Requirements for Appointment
(i) Served as driver for a minimum period of not less than three (3) years;
(ii) A valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for any of the
classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive;
(iii) A certificate of good conduct;
(iv) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results

2. Credit Officer

Reports to:
Branch Manager

Job Purpose:- The position is responsible for fast tracking all lending activities and ensure Government of Kenya loan disbursement targets are met within stipulated timelines and the customers’ needs and demands are met to their satisfaction i.e.( MSMEs)

Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks
(a) Prepare feasibility studies and business plans for clients in line with the company’s lending
policy and support growth of a quality loan portfolio in liaison with their supervisors;
(b) Appraise clients and vet loan applications for disbursement purposes;
(c) Assist clients on projects implementation appraise investment proposals
(d) Undertake debt collection of all the disbursed loans, receipting and banking of payments in
adherence to the company’s set policies;
(e) Collect industrial raw data and update projects database on disbursements, appraisals and all in the loans in the pipeline;
(f) Participate in preparation of station returns and arrange insurance covers for KIE-funded
projects;
(g) Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation of All the invest projects generated;
(h) Participate and Carry out business development services (BDS) or training programmes for
clients / advisory to all clients;
(i) Ensure effective Marketing of all KIE products and services county wide.
(j) Prepare an annual plan for KIE using the statistics collected from project appraisals;
(k) Any other duties that you may be called upon by your supervisor from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business related fields from a recognized Institution;
  • A good oriented individual preferably in the banking Industry on credit lending;
  • Work experience equivalent for a minimum of 3 years;
  • Good communication and writing skills;
  • Proficiency in computer applications;
  • Demonstrate ability to work as a team member;
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in his/her work performance and results


    3. Assistant Manager Business Development

    Reports to:
    Manager Business Development
    The position is responsible for promoting industrialization in Kenya through development of
    Medium and Small Enterprises, carrying out technical appraisal of loan projects to ensure they meet threshold in terms of economic viability and technical feasibility, coordinate, monitor and
    support effective implementation of projects as per
    recommendations and approvals granted by
    various committees leading to loan disbursements.

    Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks
    a) Prepare, develop feasibility studies for internal and external financing and offer
    technical advise to management on project investments;
    b) Analyze, appraise in Liaison with branches on all matters of project papers/ business
    plans received on loans Generation;
    c) Present project papers, position papers and business plans during project appraisal
    committee meetings;
    d) Conduct seminars and workshops on BDS products and coordinate entrepreneurship
    training and development of new products;
    e) Initiate income-generating activities for the organization by coordinating and
    preparation of project papers for all branches countrywide;
    f) Co-ordinate and Carry out technical valuations, review policies and procedures on
    project implementation;
    g) Understands the company’s goals for enhanced performance;
    h) Undertakes other duties as a signed to by the supervisor from to time.
    Academic Qualifications/ Experience & Competences
    i) A bachelor’s Degree in Business related fields from a recognized Institution;
    j) Master’s Degree in Business Administration from a recognized institution is an added advantage;
    k) At least 3-4 years of progressive experience in the field of Business Development
    l) Excellent facilitation and presentation skills;
    m) Demonstrated experience on the management of team at a professional level.
    n) Strong qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills;
    o) Computer literacy and knowledge of different applications;
    p) Excellent written (report writing) and verbal skills;
    q) Leadership skills and ability to operate at both strategic and operational level.
    r) Strong interpersonal skills and good marketing experience will be an added advantage

    4. Senior Business Development Officer

    Reports to:
    Manager Business Development
    The incumbent will be responsible for developing, maintaining and growing alternative
    sustainable revenue streams though designing of products marketing and managing business
    activities of Medium and Small Enterprises by:-
    a) Providing Consultancy services to clients (Public & Private Organizations);
    b) Develop training manuals or curriculum for clients;
    c) Conducting Feasibility Studies;
    d) Providing Capacity building for SMEs on entrepreneurship;
    e) Undertake Environmental impact assessment surveys.

    Key Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks
    Managerial / Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Prepare; develop feasibility studies for internal and external financing and offer technical
    advise to management on project investments;
  • Conduct seminars and workshops on BDS products and coordinate entrepreneurship
    training and development of new products;
  • Provide consultancy services and Develop training manuals for both (Public and private
    organizations);
  • Prepare, develop resource mapping/ Industrial policy and master plans in liaison with the
    County Governments;
  • Conduct Environmental impact assessment Surveys to our clients;
  • Co-ordinate and Carry out technical valuations, review policies and procedures on project implementation;
  • Oversee commissioning and implementation all approved projects designed and funded
    by our stakeholders;
  • Undertake research, review company products and improve on present to ensure
    company’s competiveness;
  • Initiate income-generating activities for the organization countrywide.

    Academic Qualifications /Knowledge, Experience and Attributes / Skills
    a) Bachelor’s Degree in Business related courses;
    b) Previous relevant work experience required of up to 3 years of progressive working;
    c) Demonstrated Excellence, understanding or experience in a Business Consultancy work;
    d) Excellent written (report writing) and verbal skills;
    e) Excellent facilitation and presentation skills;
    f) Strong qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills;
    g) Computer literacy and knowledge of different applications;
    h) Cooperation and team spirit and strong interpersonal skills;
    i) Marketing experience will be an advantage;
    j) Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
