Inquiry on Index to Use

I sat for my primary final exams in Uganda but when I came to Kenya I was told to do the qualification exams and eventually sat for KCSE.

I was given a new index number to use during the qualification exams. So which primary index number should i use when applying for the degree forms; the one of Uganda or qualification exams?
