GIBB International Materials / Pavement Engineer Jobs in Kenya

Qualifications and Competencies

• BSc (Civil Engineering, MSc added advantage
• Registered with EBK ar equivalent body acceptable to EBK
• 12 years post-graduation experience in road projects. Worked on at least 2 projects where the value of works of each project was at least USD 30 million.
• At least 3 years' experience as in-charge of a materials testing laboratory carrying out routine testing of all road construction materials, quality control and performance tests
• Experience in mechanistic pavement design and analytical pavement evaluation methods is desirable
• Must have worked in Sub-Saharan Africa.

GIBB International Highway Design Engineers Jobs in Kenya

Qualifications and Competencies

• BSc (Civil Engineering), MSc degree will be an added advantage
• Registered with EBK or equivalent body
• At least 12 years post-graduation experience in road projects
• Experience in design of at least 2 projects where the value of works was at least USD 30 million for each project.
• Experience in geometric design using the latest highway design computer applications.
• Must be able to prepare road design drawings, carry out estimation of quantities and write technical specifications.

Qualifications and Competencies

• BSc in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning / Economics. MSc in Transportation Engineering or equivalent is desirable
• At least 10 years professional experience after graduation
• Must have at least 5 years of recent experience in transportation planning/traffic engineering and economic analysis in the road sector. Value of works of at least 2 projects handled must be in excess of USD 20 million.
• Knowledge of inter-modal transport systems desirable.
• Experience in the use of traffic simulation software such as AMISUN will be an added advantage.
