Call for Session Proposals: African Youth Charter @20 Pan African Youth Forum in Addis Ababa - Ethiopia;The Pan African Youth Forum (PAYF) 2026 will commemorate twenty years of the African Youth Charter and provide a continental platform for Member States, young people, AU Organs, RECs, partners, the private sector and civil society to shape the next phase of youth development in Africa.

The Forum will amplify youth voices, reflect on progress and contribute to a Common African Position on the Future of African Youth Development, alongside a roadmap for strengthening the African Youth Charter.

Call for Session Proposals

Young people, organizations and partners are invited to submit proposals for meaningful, inclusive and solutions‑oriented sessions that will shape the PAYF 2026 agenda and outcomes.

Guidance for Proposals

  • Ensure names, titles/designations and email addresses of panelists, speakers and moderators are included before submission.

  • Refer to the Concept Note, Draft Agenda and Draft Issues Paper for additional guidance: Official Documents Link.

    Data Protection and Privacy Notice

  • The African Union Commission is committed to protecting personal information and respecting privacy.

  • Information collected will be used solely for reviewing, evaluating and administering submissions for PAYF 2026.

  • Personal information will only be accessed by authorized members of the PAYF organizing team and designated programme review partners.

  • If selected, speaker names, affiliations, biographies and session descriptions may be used in official programme materials and communications.

  • No personal information will be shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
