UAHEB Driver Jobs in Uganda

Job Purpose

To provide secure and timely driving services to support the Secretariat’s operations.

Specific Responsibilities

Operate assigned vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and ensure sound running of the vehicle assigned to him/her.

Keep track of timely car insurance renewals.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records/log book on trip sheets, vehicle maintenance, fuel purchases, incident reports, accident reports, vehicle condition reports and other records that are requested from management.

Deliver correspondences as may be required.;
Keep the assigned vehicle(s) clean inside and outside;

Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle as required;

Coordinate the schedule for major or periodic vehicle maintenance with management and staff to minimize service interruptions;

Transport staff and supplies or deliveries to required destinations respectively;

Qualifications:

Must possess an ‘O’ Level certificate and valid driving permit with minimum of 3 classes.

He/she in addition must be able to communicate in English.

A certificate in defensive/competence driving or equivalent from a reputable organization is an added advantage

Experience A minimum of five (5) years of driving experience.
