Summit Recruitment & Search Assistant Interior Designer Jobs in Kenya

Our client a 5-star animal reserve Hotel in the outskirts of Nanyuki is looking to hire an interior designer who will support the hotel in the kitchen department. The successful candidate should have 3-5 years of experience as an interior designer in a 4- or 5-star hotel and be willing to relocate.

Key Requirements:

Ensure work is completed in a timely manner to the required standard.

Improve the look of the Hotel’s interior through careful planning and organization.

Coordinate furniture and layout in order to maximize usage, and space of the Hotel’s interior.

Enhance all aspects of the space including colour, lighting, textures, furniture, and spatial relationships;

Ensure work is completed within the budget.

Qualifications:

Must have a diploma interior design or related field.

Must have a minimum of 3 – 5 years working in a similar field.

Must be willing to relocate, Accommodation will be provided.

KCSE Minimum C

Experience working for an international hotel is an added advantage.

Ability to work in a remote area.

Experience and confirmed knowledge in the repair of curtains, chairs, beddings, furniture, and the like.

Strong creativity, artistic ability, and imagination.

Ability to apply a sense of style to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.

Strong visual design skills including proportion and aesthetics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Highly organized person.

Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and resolve any issues regarding operation and delay.

Advanced attention to detail.

Problem-solving skills.
