4. Regional Manufacturing Group Accounts Assistant Vacancy in Kenya


Our client a leading Regional Manufacturing group is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant.

The ideal candidate must have experience in Tally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Post financial data to appropriate accounts in an automated accounting system.
  • Enter, update, and/or retrieve accounting data from automated systems.
  • Prepare and submit customer invoices.
  • Payroll preparation and statutory remittance.
  • Submit relevant withholding and VAT payments to Kenya Revenue Authority.
  • Code, post and receive payments.
  • Perform all necessary account, bank and other reconciliations.
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments.
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures.
  • Design, prepare, and maintain accounting and finance spreadsheets.
  • Clients accounts reconciliations for payments received and disbursed for vehicles.
  • Create sales agreements and proforma invoices and assist the sales team in seeing through sales.
  • Prepare all financial accounts ready for Auditors.
  • Review new procedures, manuals, and system enhancements.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in Accounting or Finance.
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or equivalent.
    CPA (K).
  • Proficiency in Tally.
  • Ability and drive to work independently, solution oriented.
  • Ability to determine work priorities, make decisions and take appropriate actions.
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines of the work area.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.

    Salary: 45,000 gross

    5. Adventure Center General Manager Job in Nairobi Kenya

    Our client, an Adventure Center outside Nairobi, is looking for a dynamic General Manager.

    The successful candidate will be responsible to manage the day to day running of the Adventure Centre in its entirety and ensure all guests receive the unique personalised experience.

    He/She must be very organized with exceptional people skills and will be someone that wants to play a crucial role in the running and development of this center.

    Key Responsibilities:
  • Chair weekly meetings with the Heads of Departments
  • Oversee the financial procedures and ensure strict controlling in accordance with approved budgets
  • Ensure safety procedures are in place for guests both in the property and when participating in activities
  • Ensure that overall repairs and maintenance of the property are being followed through, focusing on preventive maintenance
  • Ensure all procurement, stores and stock control are being followed correctly
  • Sourcing of suppliers
  • Exercise and implement cost saving measures
  • Ensure compliance with all tax and licensing laws
  • Maintain a positive relationship with the community and neighbours
  • Oversee the booking and reservations department and ensure that there is clear communication with the activity department
  • Prepare monthly property management reports and submit to the Project Manager
  • Draw up a comprehensive repair and maintenance plan
  • Coordinate and conduct training for employees as required by operations

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum education of Bachelor degree or Diploma in Restaurant Management or relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of Hospitality/F&B Management experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Have excellent English communication skills both written and spoken
  • Possess professional disposition with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Fluent in Kiswahili

    Monthly gross salary: Salary negotiable depending on experiences and skills

    They are currently seeking to recruit a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee the entirety of the organisation’s operations and have a strategic vision and direction for the Organisation.


    Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside with the Managing Director to prepare annual budget and forecast
  • Provide support and guidance on the Finance, Risk Management and internal controls.
  • Reviewing existing processes and controls, with particular focus on revenue, inventory and purchasing making recommendations.
  • Overall operation and management of the Company.
  • Oversee the recruitment process of staff; interviewing, hiring and training of employees.

    Qualifications:

  • Must have a CPA K / ACCA with at least 3 years at senior financial position.
  • Must have experience in dealing with cost management and optimization.
  • Experience with initiating and leading improvement programmes, strategic plans and overseeing change.
  • Must have strong treasury and cash management background.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Must have an impeccable integrity and diligence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully under pressure.

    Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 200,000/= – 250,000/= (Approx. 2000 – 2500 USD) depending on experience and qualifications.
