Scholarships for Study in Publishing

I have been interested in Publishing for a very long time. Are there scholarships for African students in this area for either short or yearly courses? I would prefer a short course actually (at most 1 year) because of my family responsibilities but it would help me achieve my creative writing and publishing dream. My educational background is actually in Communications.
