About This Job:

Q-Sourcing Limited is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and South Sudan.

On behalf of one of our Kampala based clients, we are looking for competent and experienced Procurement Officer

Job Purpose:

To obtain goods and services from reputable and compliant vendors that provide best overall value (Quantity, Quality, Price and delivery schedule) to the organization in accordance with established company policy and standard operating procedures

Duties and Responsibilities

Estimate and establish cost parameters for AOP & Capex Planned items. Develop sourcing and procurement plans for different spend items. Maintain and update register of vendors and providers per spend item.

Ensure that procurement of goods and services is done in accordance with the good governance rules by following company polices and procedure

Manages delivery schedules agreed with suppliers. Ensure PR are converted to purchase orders within 48 hrs

Ensure new vendors are created as per approved documentation within SAP. Ensure all delivered items are reconciled against Purchase Order

Adherence to Safety, Health and Environment Policies and Procedures AOI and relevant Industry SHE Policies.

Qualification & Skill

Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain or similar

Procurement and supply chain management
