Job Description

Reporting to the Manager/ICT Infrastructure and Support the position will be responsible for administration of enterprise servers, management of computer hardware, installations and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor systems’ alerts and reports on servers.
  • Management of Oracle VM Manager, VMware VSphere, and SAN storage.
  • Management of Server virtualization for scalability, high availability and easier network management.
  • Management and Administration of Domain Policies, Security and Administration of Active directory and Mail system.
  • Handle diagnosis, Configuration and deployment of Servers, client PCs
  • Provide hardware specifications for servers, computers and printer hardware.
  • Train employees on Desktop software applications including the banking software.
  • First level support through speedy diagnosis, troubleshooting and resolving of server and client issues.
  • Receive, inspect and test equipment’s for repairs to and from repair.
  • Deployment and maintenance of the corporate Antivirus engine.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • Professional qualification on MCSE, MCP, A+ or related fields.
  • Training on Virtualisation environment using VMware or / and Oracle VM.
  • At least three years’ experience in a busy similar environment
  • Working in a virtualised environment will be an added advantage.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the Assistant Manager/ICT Infrastructure and Support, the position will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient System Administration of Application Systems, provision of efficient and effective ICI support services, and implementation of security controls for ICT applications.

    Responsibilities

  • Perform System Application Administration duties.
  • Backup and restore systems as per backup and restore policy.
  • Management of Veritas backup application and data library.
  • Maintain systems users and the access rights, and review of User roles to conform to business requirements.
  • Management of card printing solution.
    Documentation of the System Applications.
  • Ensure appropriate security and access controls to the data centre are implemented and maintained.
  • Carry out System Performance tuning to ensure optimum performance.
  • Troubleshoot and test computer systems software and hardware.
  • Carry out software installation and maintenance to ensure relevant applications are running effectively.
  • Resolve ICT equipment malfunction and ensure effective utility of the equipment by users.

    Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a closely related field from a reputable institution with at least 2 years’ experience in Systems Administration.
  • UNIX/Linux Administration and User skills.
  • Knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL or any RDBMS will have an added advantage.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve arising problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work at odd hours.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the office of the Manager, Financial Accounting & Reporting, the

    position is responsible for facilitating timely and accurate reconciliation of various accounts.

    To ensure effective and efficient accounting of all financial matters in the bank and to facilitate production of accurate, timely, complete and reliable periodic financial reports.

    Responsibilities

  • To ensure prompt reconciliations of cash, bank and control and General Ledger accounts.
    Produce reconciliation statements and schedules for audit and management purposes.
  • Monitor Cash, Bank and related control accounts to ensure optimal use of cash.
  • Prepare reconciliation schedules and ensure that no excess funds are held in the branches.
  • Maintain controls to ensure the institutions assets are safeguarded.
  • Capture Bank charges, payment vouchers and application of cheques.
  • Respond to audit queries emanating from the assigned duties.
  • Check and approve payment vouchers as per set approval limits.

    Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in business related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA (K), ACCA.
  • At least three years of experience in accounting.
  • IT Proficiency.

    Job Description

    Reporting to the Assistant Manager/ICT Business Systems and Alternate Channels, the position will be responsible for developing software and applications that are compatible with mobile phones and other desktop applications.

    Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, implement and support mobile and desktop applications.
  • Ensure that the applications are running optimally.
  • Communicate regularly with System administrators, Database administrators and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
  • Maintain the Bank’s Desktop/Website/ Web Based/Mobile based applications.
  • Participate in design and coding of application-embedded, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting solutions.
  • Analyse and optimize performance of Web, Client and mobile based applications.
  • Collaborate with DBA and Systems Administrators to create and maintain a robust framework to support mobile applications.

    Qualifications

  • B.SC in Computer science or an equivalent degree course.
  • Development of Oracle applications, using PL/SQL
  • DBA skills using MSQL and Oracle RDMBS.
    Qualification and proficiency in programming languages like NTMLE, C, C++, iOS, Java, Objective-C, etc is the main qualification.
  • Basic knowledge of interface design and development will be an added advantage.
  • Development on Android environment
    Web service technologies, specifically REST APIs, Service oriented designs and technologies (AJAX/ XML/JSON).
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office applications, such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Two years in a busy ICT environment.
