Job description

Management and support of Education CC project field staff
Adherence to Education CC tools and handbooks and other NRC policies
Contribute to Education CC strategy development and provide input on needs and gaps from relevant area of operations
Manage and implement delegated portfolio of education CC projects (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements, and ensure high technical quality, and provide regular reports to Area Manager as well Education Specialist
Ensure that projects target beneficiaries most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to assist

Qualifications

Minimum of B.Sc./BA degree in Educational planning and management, Educational leadership and any other related field

Personal qualities

Minimum of 5 years of professional experiences in areas of Educational leadership and any other related jobs with humanitarian /development NGO’s
of the local language especially Amharic as well as regional languages spoken in Gambella

Experience with start-up, exit or similar

Experience from working an education project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context

Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts

Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities

Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
