medical lab. technology

I am a 29 year old Ugandan, a medical lab assistant at certificate level. I would like to advance my academic career in medical lab technology (diploma) preferably in Uganda.

I am currently based in a busy hospital setting where my primary job description is Phlebotomy, reagent preparation, sample analysis and examination, biochemical and microbiological tests as indicated, as well as to support teaching staff in the nursing school by part time lectures.

I have thus accumulated experience in general practice/ tropical medicine and in dealing with HIV/AIDS patients from the laboratory perspective. I have also had seminars and short courses in fields related to HIV/AIDS, laboratory quality and standard controls.
