Kisii University Senior Lecturer Jobs in Kenya
ResponsibilitiesTeaching and supervision of postgraduate.
Support and mentor students in their career endeavours
Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure that the programmes are up-to date and marketable.
Participate in programme assessment and reviews.
Engage in research in area of Animal Physiology.
Engage in service to the university, the profession and to the community.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
An earned PhD degree qualification in Animal Physiology from an accredited and recognized university.
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as
lecturer or six (6) years research/industry experience.
Successfully supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students to
completion since being appointed lecturer.
A minimum of thirty two (32) publication points of which at least twenty four
(24) should be from refereed scholarly journals.
Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
Evidence of winning grants either individually or as a group since being appointed as a lecturer.
Registered with a professional body (where applicable)

Supervise undergraduate projects and other experimental learning programs.
Supervise dissertations/theses at the graduate level for those with PhD
Participate in the development of undergraduate and post graduate courses
Initiate, promote and participate in research projects
Provide professional and community services and initiate linkages and fundraising
Carry out administrative and other duties & responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications
An earned PhD qualification in Animal Ecology from an accredited and recognized university.
A master’s degree in Animal Ecology from an accredited and recognized university.
A minimum of twenty four (24) publication points of which at least sixteen
(16) should be from refereed journal papers.
Registered or register-able with a relevant professional body.
Evidence of attendance and contribution at learned conferences, seminars or workshops.
