4. Kenya School of Law Waiter /Waitress Jobs - Ref: KSL/HR04/2017 - Grade: KSL 9 - (1 Post)


Job Summary

Reporting to the Chef, the incumbent will ensure that all the School clients receive good customer care, food and beverage service, while ensuring a clean, comfortable and friendly environment in service area.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure best practice of food service, beverage preparation, service and customer care
  • Cleaning floors, windows, glass ware, cups, trays, cutlery in the cafeteria
  • Setting the tables in the cafeteria
  • Distribution of food and beverage in various service points

    Qualification and Experience

  • Possession of a one (1) year certificate in food , beverage, service and sales from a recognized training institution
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years working experience in a busy institution
  • Possess a valid Food Handlers certificate.

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Chef, the incumbent will ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and to the Standards of the School and best practice.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Review of menus and assembling foods supplies and equipment for daily food preparation in consultation with the Chef;
  • Setting up and preparing equipment for use in food preparation;
  • Adhering to standardized recipes;
  • Setting up and directing placement of hot foods in serving line and replenishing as necessary and assisting in care and maintenance of work areas, supplies and equipment

    Qualification and Experience

  • Possession of a one (1) year certificate in food production from a recognized training institution
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years working experience in a busy institution
  • Possess a valid Food Handlers certificate.

    6. Kenya School of Law Support Staff Jobs - Ref: KSL/HR06/2017 - Grade : KSL 10 - 1 Post

    Job Summary

    Reporting to the Supervisor, Housekeeping unit the incumbent will ensure a clean and organized School environment.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the school premises as assigned.
  • Collect litter around the School and dispose of it appropriately;
  • Reporting to the supervisor any maintenance requirement
  • Reporting on any security issues

    Qualifications and Experience

  • Be a holder of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education D+ ;
  • Possess a valid Certificate of Good Conduct;
  • Have two (2) years working experience.
  • Possession of a relevant artisan certificate will be an added advantage
  • Should be a team player.
