Kenya Government Laboratory Technician II (Science/civil (101 Posts) Jobs

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have-:

Certificate in any of the following fields, Laboratory Science, Laboratory Technology
OR

Certificate in Occupational/Proficiency Test

Certificate Grade III/II/I in Civil

Engineering for Geological Laboratories from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a more senior and experienced officer.

Preparing geological and construction samples;

Drying, crushing and preserving samples for testing and cleaning of work area and equipment

Assisting in field and sampling investigation.

Kenya Government Artisan (Motor Vehicle Mechanic) GRADE III,(90 Posts) Jobs

For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:-

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus) or its
equivalent from a recognized institution; and

Motor Vehicle Mechanic National Trade Test

Certificate Grade III/ apprentice

Certificate awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

This is the entry and training grade for this cadre and the officer will work under the supervision and guidance of a senior officer.

Servicing of vehicles;

Cleanliness of the workplace; and

Care and maintenance of tools

Kenya Government Artisan (Upholster) Grade III -(12Posts) Jobs

Requirements for Appointment:

For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:-

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent
from a recognized institution; and

Artisan National Trade test certificate Grade III/ apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

Note: Serving Subordinate staff with KCSE mean grade D (plain) who gains three (3) years practical experience after obtaining National Trade Test Grade III may

be considered for promotion to Artisan grade III.

Duties and Responsibilities

Use of upholstery machines to thread and stitch upholstery materials, interior roofing of vehicles and canvass work, taking measurement, estimating and repairs of upholstery

Cleaning of workplace and machines.

Kenya Government Artisan (Spray Painter) Grade III - (11Posts) Jobs

For appointment to this grade, the candidate must have:-

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (plus) or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

Artisan National Trade test certificate Grade III/ apprentice Certificate awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training or its equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution.

Note: Serving Subordinate staff with KCSE mean grade D (plain) who gains three (3) years practical experience after obtaining National Trade Test Grade III may be considered for promotion to Artisan grade III.

Duties and Responsibilities

Spray painting works on commercial vehicles, construction plants and any other manufactured items;

Maintenance of spray painting tools; and

Cleaning of the workplace and machines
