German Agro Action Data Officer Kenya Jobs

Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action is an International NGO operating in various Counties in Kenya and is currently looking for qualified personnel to fill the position of Agricultural Field Officers and IT/Data Officer for a fixed term period to be based at our Western Region Offices (Kakamega, Bungoma and Siaya Counties).


IT/Data Officer (1 Post) To qualify as an IT/Data Officer, the candidate must possess the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Statistics or any related field.
    Excellent knowledge of the following:
  • Statistical analysis,
  • Editing/proofing correspondence,
  • Data verification,
  • Coding and analysis of data
  • Data Presentation in the latest format
  • Strong familiarity with statistical software packages such as Stata, R, SPSS, SAS etc. With
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of standard Monitoring and Evaluation procedures and tools
    Thorough knowledge of the following:
  • Networking
  • File sharing
  • Server management
  • Normal computer maintenance both hardware and software
  • An inherent understanding of database administration
  • At least 3 years of progressive work experience in a similar position preferably with INGO
  • High level of data accuracy
  • High level of data confidentiality
