Financial Austerity and Sscholarship

I really require a scholarship to study either in diaspora, or locally within my country. Hence, I have been envisaging on the question, "how can someone with a very low bank account of less than N5000 obtain a scholarship to study abroad?" Sources gathered have proved that when seeking for admission to further one's programme, a financial statement of one's account is required in order to obtain admission.
