FIDA Kenya seeks to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the following vacant position:

FIDA Kenya Deputy Executive Director and Head of Programmes Vacancies

Ref: FILIA/DED/05/2018:

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Executive Director and will be responsible to manage all affairs in 3 FIDA regional offices; provide leadership to all teams and oversee the management and strategic guidance of the organization; contribute to the development of programs and appropriate work plans: provide technical support to programs and project officers in managing grants portfolio; assist in developing and periodically reviewing resource mobilization strategies and represent FIDA Kenya in external donors' forums and partner activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must be an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a current practicing certificate and over 7 years' experience, 3 of which should be in senior management;
  • knowledge and experience in litigation, human rights, gender & women's rights issues lobbying and advocacy.
  • program planning. designing, monitoring & evaluation and financial management skills plus proven management capabilities within a busy office.
  • Masters qualification will be an added advantage.

    FIDA Kenya Senior Legal Council - Access to Justice based in Mombasa Vacancies

    Ref: FIDA/SP0/05/2018:

    Job Summary:

    Legal Representation, Pro bono Lawyers Scheme, Mediation, Counseling, Trainings/Workshops, Self- Representation, Strategic Interest Litigation and Informal Justice Systems.

    Monitor & Evaluation and act as liaison with other NO0s. Government departments and relevant bodies in gender related issues at regional, national and International levels.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized University;
  • Be an advocate
    of the High Court of Kenya with FIVE 5 years post admission experience and a valid practicing certificate;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in litigation, in gender and women's rights issues, lobbying and advocacy.
  • Program planning, designing, monitoring & evaluation and financial management skills.

    FIDA Kenya Monitoring Evaluation Officer Vacancies

    Ref: FIDA/M&E/05/2018

    Job Summary:

    Reporting to Deputy Executive Director, the successful candidate will monitor programs implementation with particular focus on results, Impacts and lesson learning promote results based approach to M&E and provide support and guidance to programme staff on M&E activities.

    Minimum Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences/Project Management/Statistics and at least 3 years' relevant experience in monitoring & evaluation, project management, networking, donor relations and developing/writing project proposals in NGO context.
