FHI 360 International NGO Senior Technical Officer, Pediatric & Adolescent Care and Treatment Jobs in Kenya


Job Summary / Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction to implementing partners and other agencies in the implementation of pediatric and adolescent HIV care and treatment
  • Provide direction in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of pediatric and adolescent HIV care and treatment.
  • Prepare annual work plans, budgets and reports for clinical services.
  • Monitor the achievements of set targets for clinical services.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with MOH staff at all levels and other partners to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the program at all levels.
  • Maintain smooth regular information flow with MOH officials, FHI 360 technical staff on technical issues.

    Qualifications:

  • Excellent managerial and administrative skills.
  • Sensitivity of cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV/AIDS/TB.
  • Ability to work with others and maintain compatibility among project staff, sub contractors, consultants and recipients of assistance.
  • Ability to manage projects, set priorities and plan for the successful implementation of programs.
  • Ability to travel regionally, nationally and internationally as needed.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, team player with drive as an initiative.

    Minimum Requirements Standards:

  • HIV/AIDS/RH program management experience. Medical doctor with a Master’s in Public Health preferred.
  • Working experience of at least 7-9 years and at least two years treating patients with HIV/AIDS.
  • Experience in providing care and treatment and use of ARV drugs in pediatric and adolescent patients is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with decentralized public health systems.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite.

    FHI 360 International NGO Associate Director, Care and Treatment Jobs in Kenya

    Job Summary / Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction to technical teams and implementing partners and other agencies in the implementation of comprehensive HIV care and treatment program, including pediatric care, ART, PMTCT, TB and HTS
  • Provide direction in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HIV care and treatment program
  • Prepare annual work plans, budgets and reports for clinical services.
  • Analyses data and technical assessment findings for decision making
  • Monitor the achievements of set targets for clinical services.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with MOH staff at all levels and other partners to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the program at all levels.
  • Maintain smooth regular information flow with MOH officials, FHI 360 technical staff on technical issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

  • Excellent managerial and administrative skills.

    Job Summary / Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of HIV Care & Treatment, including HIV/TB programs
  • Provide direction in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of pediatric and adolescent HIV care and treatment.
  • Prepare annual work plans for implementing activities, budgets and reports for clinical services.
  • Monitor the achievements of set targets for clinical services.
  • Facilitate the maintenance and improvement of standards of clinical Care & Treatment for HIV and TB patients
  • Participate in training programs for MOH officials and implementing partner staff and other activities designed to enhance staff skills in HIV Care & Treatment, including HIV/TB
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with MOH staff at all levels and other partners to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the program at all levels.
  • Maintain smooth regular information flow with MOH officials, FHI 360 technical staff on technical issues.
