Doctors with Africa CUAMM Program Coordinator Jobs in Tanzania


Requirements

  • University Degree in Medicine, Nursing or equivalent title
  • Specialisation, Master or equivalent title in Public Health
  • Previous experience of Public Health in Developing Countries
  • At least 3 years of experience in projects coordination, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and grant management with NGOs; experience of management of nutrition projects will be an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of English and preferable good knowledge of Kiswahili
  • Good coordination and institutional relations skills
  • Availability to travel frequently

    Key Duties

  • The candidate coordinates regional PMs and is responsible for the program and relations with the donor and local health institutions.
  • In particular, he/she will:
  • plan the interventions, collaborating with the PMs monitor the progress of expected activities
    prepare reports required by donor and local authorities
  • support project managers for training activities about information system and improve data collection and analysis
  • improve planning and monitoring skills at regional and district level
  • collaborate on awareness-raising activities at Community level
  • support operational research
    produce scientific evidence for informed planning
