ResponsibilitiesCommand and control of the Enforcement Division in the County.
Formulate guidelines and implement strategies for effective enforcement of county laws.
Establish systems for effective collaboration with government security agencies, the
Judiciary, communities and other stakeholders for effective enforcement of county laws.
Adopt modern technologies and innovation to improve the effectiveness of enforcement
and compliance.
Qualifications
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Bachelor degree from a recognized university in any of the following: criminology, security,
forensics or related discipline.
Knowledge of constitutional provision related to law enforcement, the County Government
Act and other relevant laws of devolved government functions.
Have at least ten (10) years’ experience in a relevant field.
Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya on leadership; and
Added advantage if:
Registered as a Prosecutor with the Attorney General’s Office.
Have practical experience in prosecution in period of not less than 2 years.
Training with the National Defense College (NDC) or any other security related
course.

County Government of Kirinyaga Director Revenue Jobs
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day to day running of the county Revenue section in consultation with
County Chief officer for Finance
Implement County policies and regulations on revenue.
Efficient revenue collection and growth in a sustainable manner.
Design, effective, efficient and secure systems of collecting revenue. The system must have the capacity to minimize leakage, fraud and avoidance
Train, develop, support and deploy revenue collectors at different level of the County
Government.
Set high but realistic and achievable collection targets for all revenue collectors.
Design performance evaluation systems that track progresses on target.
Identify new revenue streams for the county government and optimal rates.
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on revenue collections
Qualifications
Be a Kenyan citizen
Bachelor’s degree, Accounting/Finance, Economics, Business Administration or other
related fields from a university recognized in Kenya, or CPA(K)
A Masters Degree in relevant field will be an added advantage.
Have CPA (K) or its equivalent;
Be able to demonstrate familiarity with Public Financial management and accounting
systems;
Have at least 10 years post qualification experience in a busy commercial or public financial accounting and treasury environment;
Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya on leadership.

Responsibilities
Policy development and interpretation on supply chain management advising the Chief
Officer Finance, County Treasury on matters pertaining to Supply Chain Management.
Implementing of e-government procurement strategies.
Participating on negotiations in matters pertaining to supply Chain Management.
Providing overall guidance on framework and consortium buying.
Supervise staff in the procurement department.
Ensuring that accurate procurement record are maintained including all action and
documents for review.
Implementing inventory management information system.
Qualifications
Served in the grade of Director, Supply Chain Management Services or in a comparable and
relevant position for a minimum period of three (3) years.
A Diploma in Supplies Management or its approved equivalent from a recognized institution.
A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following :- Commerce, Business Administration,
Economics, Procurement and Supply Management, Marketing
Law or their equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution.
Must have ten (10) years working experience in procurement 5 years of which are in senior
position.
Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities
Preparation and implementation of strategic and annual work plans for the directorate.
Preparation of budget and procurement plans

Land Commission
Overseeing topographical, cadastral, engineering, re-establishment and general surveys
Estimating and costing of survey projects
Overseeing digitization of land and survey projects
Management of staff working in the Directorate
Training needs assessment and planning
Qualifications
Bachelors degree from a University recognized in Kenya in any of the following disciplines
;- Land Surveying and Photogrammetry, Geomatic Engineering, Technology in Geomatics,
Geospatial Engineering, Philosophy in Technology (Survey)
Must have served for a minimum of ten (10) years in a relevant field as a Land Surveyor.
Membership of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK).
Certificate in Geographical Information System (GIS).
Masters degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.

Must be registered with relevant professional body.
