Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide quality diagnostic services using the most appropriate radiographic techniques and equipment.

Basic qualifications

Be a Kenyan citizen

Diploma in Medical imaging sciences

Higher Diploma in Medical Imaging sciences (Sonography)

Must be registered and licensed by the Radiation Protection Board of Kenya.

Minimum 3 years working experience in a busy medical institution.

Knowledge of techniques in general and specialized radio diagnostics, computed tomography and fluoroscopy.

Good computer skills in hospital information systems, radiology information system (RI) and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Must have good inter-personal and communication skills;

Knowledge in CR (computerized Radiography), Mammography and ultrasonography is highly desirable

Must satisfy the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide high standard of skilled care and support during the 'preoperative' journey.

Assessing, planning, implementing nursing
interventions and evaluating patients outcomes

Preoperative assessment of patients

Receive, assess and deliver care on the patient's arrival into the post anaesthetic care unit

Monitor the patient's health and support them, providing appropriate care and treatment until the patient has recovered from the effects of the anaesthesia and/or surgery and is stable

Assess the patient in order to ensure he/she can be discharged back to a surgical ward area

Evaluate the care given during the preoperative phases (anaesthetics, surgery, and recovery).

Basic qualifications

Be a Kenyan citizen

Must have a diploma in Kenya Registered Community Nursing & higher diploma in theatre Nursing from a recognized institution

Registration certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya

Valid Practicing license from Nursing Council of Kenya

Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution

Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality

Must have good inter-personal and communication skills

Distribution, dissemination of information Education Communication materials, mosquito nets, and other commodities to households

Identifying defaulters of health interventions and other health cases and referring them to health facilities.

Basic qualifications

Diploma in any of the following disciplines:
I. Community Health and Development
II. Community Health
III. Environmental Health from a recognized institution;

Certificate in Computer Application Skills from a recognized institution.

Minimum 1 year working experience in a community health related programme.
