Chemonics International Inc. is recruiting for a chief of party and organizational strengthening specialists for an upcoming Regional Intergovernmental Organization (RIGO) System Strengthening Activity

Chemonics International is recruiting for a chief of party and organizational strengthening specialists for the Regional Intergovernmental Organization (RIGO) System Strengthening activity proposal.

We are also seeking to identify experts in grants, monitoring and evaluation, gender, and communications.

The goal of this activity is to actualize an evidence-based improvement in the institutional capacity of each RIGO and a measurable increase in each RIGO’s performance.

RIGO System Strengthening will provide organizational strengthening assistance to the East African Community (EAC), the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and selected sub-entities of those RIGOs.

Preferred expertise includes human and institutional capacity development (HICD) exposure, project management, training and facilitation skills and experience with capacity development projects.

Also, experience consulting and corresponding with senior government officials on systems and institutional strengthening preferred.
