Brand Marketing Manager Jobs in Kenya

Our client, a company committed in providing world class marketing services in areas such as Brand Activation, Field Marketing Services and Branding seeks to recruit a General Manager for their Kenya office, who will be responsible for managing the strategic relationships, Marketing and branding of the company and its events.



Responsibilities


  • Provision of marketing and branding services leadership to the management and staff.
  • Lead the team in increasing the market share of the products as well as increasing the company’s revenue.
  • Responsible for developing annual marketing operating budgets in line with the budgeting guidelines and the annual marketing strategic direction, and for scheduling and controlling expenditures, analyzing the variances and initiating corrective measure where required.
  • Develop, activate and evaluate event marketing strategies inclusive of advertising; branding and marketing collateral; competitions and promotions; cross event promotions; functions; community awareness and engagement; media and public relations; merchandise; digital and social media; tourism marketing; corporate communications and issues management.
  • Research and monitor market trends and identify potential areas in which to invest.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and projects for new and existing products.
  • Analyze how the Company product portfolio is positioned in the market.
  • Direct and manages all activities of the marketing team, ensuring that staff are properly coached, given the opportunity to develop and be continually motivated to handle the demands of their jobs and achieve their objectives.
  • Ensures effective brand marketing communications, manages all product distribution channels and establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all
    product lines, including 3rd party website features, all own and 3rd party promotional print communications, advertising and corporate and unit events.


    Qualifications


  • A recognized degree in marketing, public relations or similar field
  • Demonstrated and proven successful experience in a similar role for 10 or more years.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing strategies and campaigns to achieve marketing objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship marketing and well-developed industry networks.
  • Experience in effectively communicating with all range of stakeholders face-toface, via phone and online
  • Demonstrated skills in writing and developing content for varied marketing and branding applications.
  • Experience in staff and/or volunteer supervision and training.
  • Possession of strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability of taking initiative when managing, developing tasks and delegating tasks.
  • Persuasive and articulate with exceptional positive communication and presentation skills.
