Bachelor of Mass Communication

The bachelor of mass communication programme is a four-year degree programme that prepares students to research, analyze, interpret, evaluate and present content effectively through various channels of communication.



Through the course of study and the close mentoring by the lecturers, the student polishes his writing, verbal communication and visual skills.

Critical thinking and analytical skills acquired through in-depth investigation of contemporary social issues, give the students the ability to analyze and appropriately react to any situation that might arise; a crucial necessity in the field of communication.

Career Opportunities

Graduates from this programme will find employment in advertising, radio/television broadcasting, journalism and public relations.

In advertising the graduates can be employed as advertising or marketing specialist, copy writer, media planner, media buyer, creative director, and media sales representative.

In broadcasting the graduates can be employed as news analysts, creative directors, producers or editors.

In journalism, the graduates can be employed as creative writers, editors or publishers. While in public relations, they can be employed as public relations specialists/managers or as corporate affairs managers.
