Country representative

WaterAid transforms lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities.

Globally, we have so far reached over 15 million people with water and over 11 million with sanitation.

We now have an ambitious strategy in place to reach even more, requiring dynamic leadership across the organisation.

As our Country Representative in Tanzania you will support the Senior Management Team at country level to build an effective team and help deliver our strategy.

This will involve engaging with highlevel decision-makers to raise awareness of the water and sanitation crisis and promote WaterAid's work.

You will need exceptional communication skills and fundraising experience to influence government and donors.

You will also require developed people-management skills in order to lead, manage and motivate your team.

Knowledge of the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector (or a related sector such as health, environment or food security ) and experience of the Tanzanian social and political context is also key.
