Shanghai Government Scholarships: Shanghai Government Scholarship for International Students is a kind of special scholarship set up by the Shanghai municipal government.

It is aimed at attracting and encouraging excellent foreign students to study in Shanghai.

The scholarship is divided into Type A and Type B.

Type A, as a full scholarship, covers tuition, basic learning material, accommodation, provides insurance for major diseases and accidents and a monthly living allowance.

It is awarded to applicants for masters and above.

The numbers to be awarded is 10 each year.

Type B is a semi-scholarship, including tuition, basic learning material and accommodation.

It will be awarded to applicants for masters and above.

The numbers to be awarded is 6 each year.

Scholarship Application Eligibility Criteria:

Foreign citizens and in good health

Abide by laws and decrees of the Chinese government and follow SHFU rules and regulations

Work hard and excellent in studying

Have not gained any other Chinese government scholarships at the same time.

Foreign students who have applied before and want to apply again for the next semester scholarship can apply and gain Scholarship application form from the department he or she is studying in directly.

For those who want to apply for the scholarship for the first time, you can apply and gain Scholarship application form from the International Exchange Office.
