Research Scientists: The African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), a regional non-profit research organisation, is looking for accomplished scholars in the following fields to join its multi-disciplinary team of researchers based at its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya.Two positions in any of the following areas:
o Policy Analyst
o Poverty Expert
o Qualitative Expert
o Urban Expert
o Economist ( Health, Development, Micro or Macro)
Each of these positions requires a PhD in a relevant field, at least five years of productive postdoctoral research or teaching experience, and a sustained, strong record of scholarly publications.
Demonstrated ability to raise and manage project grants will be an added advantage.
MDs with a PhD in epidemiology or public/community health or related field with less than five years postdoctoral experience may be considered.

Allowances toward relocation, housing, home leave travel, dependants' education, and annual leave are provided.
