Film and Fiction Scholarships

The Insitute of Humane Studies (IHS) awards Film and Fiction Scholarships.

The IHS Film & Fiction Scholarships of up to $10,000 in tuition and stipend are awarded by the IHS to support students who:
 

  • Will be pursuing a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in film making, fiction writing, or playwriting full-time. 

  • Have a demonstrated interest in classical liberal ideas and their application in contemporary society.

  • Demonstrate the desire, motivation, and creative ability to succeed in their chosen profession.

    Deadline for applications is January each year.
