Design for Sustainable Development Scholarships - Chalmers University of Technology, SwedenThe Swedish Institute will award Design for Sustainable Development Scholarships.
The number of available scholarships varies from year to year, and competition is keen.
The scholarships are for students from targeted developing countries, in order to help grow special competencies where they are most needed.
In this programme, students are taught innovative design, but with the additional constraint that the result must be affordable, energy efficient, material efficient, and also environment friendly.
Some courses are taught in coordination with African universities, and the programme aims to integrate design with development research.
Application for these scholarships is to be stated in the application to the chosen Masters Programme.
