Zetech University AQA Officer – Strategic Management Jobs in Kenya; To support and enhance the quality of academic programs and services by ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in monitoring and evaluating academic programs and courses to ensure they meet institutional quality standards.

  • Supporting the AQA Manager in conducting regular reviews of academic processes and outcomes.

  • Analysing data related to student performance, feedback, and academic quality.

  • Ensuring academic programs and courses are in compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

  • Assisting in preparing documentation for accreditation processes and quality audits.

  • Providing support to academic staff on quality assurance matters, including training on best practices for assessments and course delivery.

  • Preparing and maintaining records of quality assurance activities, including meeting notes, reports, and audit results.

  • Organising meetings or workshops to engage academic staff in discussions about quality assurance processes.

  • Any other duty as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in the detailed job description.

    Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education Management, Curriculum Development, Total Quality Management, Management Science, Operations Management or a relevant field from an accredited University. A Master’s degree in the listed fields will be an added advantage.

  • A professional qualification or other qualification in Quality Management.

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in teaching,
    administration of academics or student customer service.

  • Membership in a relevant and recognised professional body.

  • Good understanding of the Universities Act, CUE standards and guidelines, TIVETA and other relevant regulatory body standards and guidelines.

  • Familiarity with the development, implementation and management of curriculum from Diploma to PhD level.

  • Understanding of Learning Outcomes (LO) and Competence‑Based (CBC) approaches to teaching and learning.

  • Familiarity with pedagogical and andragogical approaches and requisite monitoring and evaluation.

  • Working knowledge of online and face‑to‑face teaching and examination systems, and familiarity with teaching taxonomies and rubric‑building.

  • Registered or registrable for PhD.
