Job Purpose

Responsible to the HR Manager, the Senior Human Resources Officer is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources Department.

Primary Responsibilities

Work closely with your line manager to develop and implement manpower planning needs.

Identify company staff developmental needs and design appropriate training programs / solutions to address the performance gaps.

Efficient and timely recruitment & selection and ensure all recruitment processes are compliant with HR Policy & gu ide li ne .

Responsible for the timely and accurate payroll process and ensure payroll practices are compliant with statutory regulations and HR Policy.

Ensure the provision of accurate statistics, implement and maintain departmental records management.

Ensure that Human Resource Policies and Procedures are updated and implemented in line with statutory requirements and best practices.

Work with your line manager to carry out timely staff performance evaluations as per Company`s Performance Management System.

Ensure operational HR activities and processes are correctly complied and provide accurate and timely advice and guidance to y ou r line manager.

Create and implement effective onboarding plans

Carry out any other duties within the scope of the position, related as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualification/ Knowledge/ Skills

The position requires the applicant to possess the following:

BSc/BA in business administration, social sciences or relevant field; minimum of 3 years of experience.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to

interact effectively with staff at all level.

Ability to implement strategies to achieve HR objectives.

Ability to conduct surveys, needs assessment analysis and summary.

Be proficient in the use of MS Office suite, in particular, MS PP, MS Excel, Access and knowledge of HRMS/ERP

The ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)

HR Credentials (e.g. CIPM, SPHR from the HR Certification Institute)
