WRA Geologist II Jobs in Kenya; This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a Senior Officer

Geology Function

The cadre is responsible for identifying, mapping and developing of groundwater monitoring network; constructing, installing and maintaining hydro-geological stations; collecting groundwater data, analyzing and preparing hydro-geological reports

Duties and Responsibilities

Compiling data, cleaning, analysing for preparation of technical reports and other documentation regarding groundwater work

Assessing groundwater monitoring stations, identifying and recommending rehabilitation requirements

Undertaking spatial analysis of groundwater resources and preparing reports

Evaluating hydrogeological reports for permit applications

Identifying and mapping ground water resources

Storing ground water data and information in the database

Job Specifications

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Geology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Proficiency in computer applications
