World Vision Regional Specialist, Continuous Analytics & Assurance Jobs in Kenya




World Vision Regional Specialist, Continuous Analytics & Assurance Jobs in Kenya; Provide assurance to Regional and National Senior Management and the Chief Audit Executive by evaluating the effectiveness of risk, control, and governance processes. Integrate continuous analytics into audit activities to enhance visibility into key risks and improve organizational performance. Lead audit engagements of varying complexity, demonstrating high ethical standards while coordinating Regional Assurance & Advisory team members and resolving complex audit matters.

Key Responsibilities

Audit & Assurance

  • Lead audit engagements of varying complexity with minimal supervision.

  • Evaluate risk, control, and governance processes supporting ministry objectives.

  • Apply continuous analytics to enhance audit coverage and efficiency.

  • Resolve complex audit matters and provide actionable recommendations.

    Data Analytics Integration
  • Extract, clean, analyze, and visualize data from multiple systems (ERP, Finance, HR).

  • Use analytics tools (Power BI, IDEA, SQL, Python, ACL, or similar) to assess controls, identify trends, and detect anomalies.

  • Apply continuous auditing concepts such as automated control testing and data‑driven risk assessments.

    Collaboration & Reporting
  • Provide assurance and insights to Regional and National Senior Management.

  • Uphold International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA Standards).

  • Maintain high ethical and professional standards in all engagements.

    Requirements for Appointment

    Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance,
    or related field.

    Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in data analytics or audit.

  • Significant application of data‑driven techniques in risk identification, control testing, and continuous assurance.

  • Experience in audit data analytics or internal audit functions using technology to enhance assurance.

    Skills & Competencies
  • Proven experience in risk‑based auditing with emphasis on data analytics tools.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently in evolving data environments.

  • Knowledge of continuous auditing concepts and data‑driven risk assessments.

  • Understanding of IIA Standards.

    Professional Certifications
  • CIA, CISA, or data analytics credentials (CAP, DA‑100, or equivalent) preferred.

  • Basic IT Audit and Fraud Investigation knowledge (CFE is a plus).
