Responsibilities

  • As, Project Manager - Education, South Sudan** you will provide leadership in planning, design, implementation and coordination of the Education
  • Program in Baliet County in order to ensure effective program implementation in line with WV South Sudan National Strategy and policies.
  • You will also coordinate with the Education Cluster and County Education Department ensure coordination and integration of the activities within the cluster and County plans.

    Requirements:
  • The minimum educational level required is a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Rural/Community Development or Social Sciences; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience adhering to the Red Cross and Red Crescent Code of Conduct, HAP-I Standard, ECB Good Enough
    Guide, Sphere Standards (Humanitarian Charter and Participation Standard, INEE Standards and Sphere Minimum Standards), donor requirements and WV Humanitarian Accountability Framework.
  • Strong Experience in managing an emergency education project in previous work place.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience in program management and administration, financial management, award cooperative agreement compliance, sub award management, and tracking project performance and costs.
  • Excellent English Language skills (written and spoken).
  • Work environment: Field-based position, with physical hardship conditions and limited amenities.
  • Travel: 40% domestic/international travels is required.
