World Vision Kenya Relationship Manager - Kapsowar Branch Jobs;The Branch Manager shall take the leadership role at the Branch and mentor staff towards achieving VisionFund Kenya’s Mission, Vision, and Strategic Objectives. Ensure high standards of customer service, retention, compliance, and business development while championing marketing of products and services within the branch coverage area.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Risk & Operational Compliance
Implement policies, procedures, and internal controls at the branch.
Oversee accurate client assessments, credit appraisals, and loan approvals.
Conduct credit committee meetings and loan quality reviews.
Monitor delinquency trends and enforce recovery strategies.
Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and data privacy regulations.
Prepare for audits and close 85% of issues within 90 days.
Branch Staff Supervision & Development
Plan branch staffing and evaluate staff performance.
Maintain high staff morale and identify training needs.
Conduct coaching, appraisals, and productivity assessments.
Mentor at least one high‑potential team member annually.
Implement staff engagement survey action plans.
Support staff wellness, HR compliance, and disciplinary procedures.
Achieve staff retention rate of 90% or higher.
Financial Performance & Growth
Achieve disbursement, acquisition, collection, and profitability targets.
Maintain Portfolio at Risk (PAR > 1 day) below 5%.
Lead business development, marketing, and community outreach.
Retain at least 90% of existing clients and grow new ones.
Ensure timely loan application turnaround.
Digital Tools Utilization
Ensure full usage of core banking system, digital field apps, and MIS platforms.
Monitor loan origination, disbursement, and collections via dashboards.
Train staff and clients on digital channels.
Planning
Develop branch business plan and annual work plans.
Propose adjustments and proactive growth strategies.
Maintain relationships with clients, leaders, faith institutions, and partners.
Represent branch in community events and forums.
Sales & Marketing
Submit
timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
Monitor market trends and provide customer intelligence.
Champion branch expansion in new markets.
Facilitate market research and surveys.
Empower staff in sales initiatives.
Customer Experience & Responsible Lending
Uphold client protection principles and safeguarding protocols.
Organize client trainings in financial literacy and responsible borrowing.
Implement Empowered Worldview (EWV) sessions to build loyalty.
Collaborate with management and provide performance reports.
Attend monthly Relationship Manager meetings and support other branches.
Communicate organizational changes to staff.
Qualifications & Competencies
Diploma or degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in microfinance or retail banking.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and reporting abilities.
Sound knowledge of credit operations, compliance, and financial services.
Experience in fraud prevention, audit compliance, and internal controls.
Ability to manage change, drive innovation, and navigate challenges.
Tech‑savvy and open to digital transformation.
Commitment to ethical leadership, integrity, and inclusion.
Other Attributes
Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
Attend and participate in daily devotions.
Perform other duties as required by the board or owners.
