World Vision International Senior Nursing Officer, Kuajok Hospital Jobs in South Sudan
Purpose of Position:To head the nursing service and ensure provision of quality nursing care to patients in the in-patient and outpatient departments, with focus on Maternal and Child health.
Ensure successful implementation of the nursing component of the HPF project as per the Work plan and other project documents.
Supervise day- to- day activities of nurses in wards supported by World Vision South Sudan.
Build capacity of national health workers (nurses) and technically mentor them in the provision of quality nursing care.
Take a lead role in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in the wards/units in line with the ministry of health standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership for the Nursing and Midwifery team in the Hospital;
Organize and manage provision of quality nursing care with focus on Maternal and Child health in the wards.
Ensuring that patients are treated with respect and dignity at all times.
Promote practices that are sensitive to the needs of patients/clients from multi-cultural backgrounds.
Supervise nurses and other staff in the wards/units, and assess their training needs in order to upgrade their skills.
Ensure safety of patients admitted in the wards.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Degree in Nursing from a recognized and reputable university/ college. Plus, a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery.
Certificate in EMNOC. TOT in EMNoC certificate will be a plus.
Registered nurse/ midwife with proven record of having worked in the maternity ward and pediatric ward as a nurse and a sister in charge for at least four years in a hospital.
At least 3 years of work as senior nursing officer or principal nursing officer.
Understanding of project management and monitoring.
Excellent reporting and writing skills.
Working Environment / Conditions:
Work environment: Fields-Based
position.
Travel: 30% domestic/international travels is required.
On call: Available for any communications.

World Vision International Nutrition Project Manager, Juba Jobs in South Sudan
Purpose of Position
The purpose of this position is to provide management of the integrated emergency nutrition project( Nutrition , NFI and Protection ).
Key Responsibilities:
Direct oversight and day to day management of the project, ensuring achievement of project Outputs and Outcomes as related to improved nutrition and health service delivery.
Establish and maintain effective project management tools for implementation, work plan management, procurement, budget management and spending planning, quality assurance monitoring, beneficiary accountability, and programmatic and financial reporting.
Facilitate procurement of project material and supplies according to work plans and budget, including development and implementation of procurement and distribution plans.
Recruitment of project staff and their capacity building.
Ensure grant management compliance for the project in alignment with donor and WV International regulations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
University degree or qualification in food and nutrition, dietetics, food science or other related field.
3-5 years proven experience in emergency programmes or social development with at least 2 years of that experience in management of nutrition project(s).
Strong project management background.
In-depth knowledge of IMAM/CMAM and IYCF.
Experience in working with clusters and UN agencies.
Experience in urban programming preferred.
Working Environment / Conditions:
Work environment: Urban set up.
Travel: 10% domestic/international travels is required.
On call: Available for communication with partners and colleagues from diverse time zones as and when asked by the supervisor.
