Key Responsibilities:

Direct and oversee Consortium’s work in an assigned grant, ensuring that all grant goals are met

Provide technical oversight to ensure effective secondary education activities, with an emphasis on girls’ education, are properly implemented.

Collaborate closely with local partner organizations and other staff members developing and maintaining partnerships to meet project goals.

Lead and build capacity in potential local partners, promoting effective collaboration in the project.

Work with the Technical Specialist in Capacity Building, to ensure training and transfer of knowledge, resources and processes for local partners

Establish and maintain effective reporting, evaluation, and internal communication.

Ensure timely and accurate reports that meet donor requirements.

Demonstrate strong staff management practices, consistent with donor requirements and local laws.

Ensure proper technical capacity of staff is available

Manage grant budget within approved spending levels and ensure accurate and timely financial reports to donors and Consortium members

Ensure grant expenses are reasonable, allocable, prudent and spent in accordance with donor rules and regulations to ensure clean audits

Oversee supplies and equipment acquisition, disposition, and management in compliance with donor requirements

Liaise with host government officials, local communities and other organizations as appropriate
