World Vision Agriculture, Market Systems and Climate Finance Senior Advisor, VisionFund International Jobs in Zambia;VisionFund International serves vulnerable clients in 28 countries through loans, savings and insurance, enabling families to grow livelihoods and secure futures for children. The Senior Advisor provides technical leadership across agriculture, market systems and climate finance, manages the CrediEnterprise pilot in nine countries under THRIVE 2030, and positions VisionFund for institutional funding.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Advisory

  • Provide technical advice on agricultural, market systems and climate finance best practices.

  • Lead VisionFund’s internal Climate Financing working group.

  • Represent VisionFund in technical forums and strengthen brand visibility.

    Resource Development

  • Support donor positioning, grant writing and proposal development.

  • Provide technical content for funding applications.

  • Leverage CrediEnterprise learnings to pursue institutional funding.

    Operational Delivery

  • Oversee implementation of CrediEnterprise pilot under THRIVE 2030.

  • Supervise product training rollout and mentor MFI staff.

  • Monitor performance metrics, resolve bottlenecks and ensure integration with other financial products.

  • Support recruitment and training of Agri and Business Development Officers.

    Programme Reporting & Knowledge Management

  • Lead reporting and knowledge
    management for agricultural, climate and market systems projects.

  • Establish monitoring and evaluation framework with VFI Global Impact team.

  • Coordinate quarterly THRIVE 2030 reporting and reviews.

  • Develop case studies, briefs and learning products.

    Competencies

  • Strong communication skills; ability to explain market systems and climate resilience.

  • Proven project implementation and follow‑up skills.

  • Experience in partnering, grant applications and reporting.

  • Working proficiency in English; Spanish or French an advantage.
