World Food Programme Operation Information Management & Performance Reporting Officer Jobs in Kenya; To support all Operational Information Management and Performance Reporting (OIM & PR) activities and contribute to the establishment and presentation of a standard operating picture of WFP programme portfolio and associated results that facilitate informed and timely decision‑making at all levels throughout the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support staff to ensure standard OIM & PR procedures and templates are followed to drive quality, consistency, and standardisation of information management and reporting.

  • Collate relevant information and data from media and internal/external sources to maximize exchange of information and operational awareness.

  • Support collation and dissemination of political and humanitarian analysis to inform WFP responses and donor policies.

  • Collate, analyse, and communicate ‘Essential Elements of Information’ on operational environment and assets.

  • Support preparation of Annual Corporate Report (ACR) by coordinating with programme, M&E, logistics, and resource management functions.

  • Collaborate internally to ensure consistency in humanitarian information and complement WFP analysis.

  • Support capacity enhancement of WFP staff and partners in OIM & PR through training delivery.

  • Support COs or ROs in emergencies by preparing, organising, and providing secretarial support to Operational Task Forces (OTFs).

  • Provide feedback on Corporate Performance Reporting Improvements.

  • Support initiatives for improved, streamlined, and harmonized OIM & PR, including drafting normative guidance.

  • Ensure defined quality standards
    in all processes and products.

  • Perform other duties as required.

    Standard Minimum Qualifications & Experience

    Education

  • Advanced University degree in Political Science, Economics, Statistics, Information Management, Journalism, Business Management, Social Sciences, or other relevant field.

  • OR First University degree with additional years of related work experience and/or training/courses.

    Experience

  • One year or more of postgraduate professional experience in a relevant field, with background and interest in international humanitarian development.

    Knowledge & Skills

  • General knowledge of information management best practices, techniques, and processes.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including analysis and report writing.

  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly assimilate, UN/WFP specific processes and systems.

    Language

  • Fluency (Level C) in English and duty station’s language (if different).
