In honor of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang and the joy of the outdoors in winter, we've assembled a collection of short stories celebrating winter sports: ice skating, hockey, skiing, sledding, among other winter pastimes.

The ancient Olympic Games were staged in Olympia, Greece from 776 B.C.E through 393 A.C.E., but did you know they did not occur again until 1896, the first modern Olympic Games in Athens, Greece?
