Westlands Specialist Hospital Laboratory Technician Jobs in Kenya

Key Responsibilities

Collect, prepare, and analyse patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.)

Perform routine and specialised laboratory tests accurately and within set timelines

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment

Record, verify, and report test results to relevant clinicians

Maintain laboratory hygiene, safety, and infection control standards

Manage stock levels of reagents and laboratory supplies

Adhere to quality assurance and standard operating procedures

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences

Valid KMLTTB registration/license

Minimum 1–2 years relevant laboratory experience

Good knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control practices

Attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication skills
