Westlands Specialist Hospital Billing Officer Jobs in Kenya


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and process patient billing in accordance with hospital tariffs and insurance schemes.

  • Prepare accurate invoices, credit notes and billing reports.

  • Liaise with insurance companies and SHA on claims and reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and patient accounts.

  • Collaborate with finance and health records departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

    Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Health Records and Information Technology (must have studied Health Records).

  • Minimum 3 years’ billing experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.

  • Sound knowledge of medical insurance billing (SHA, private insurers).

  • Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.

  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
