    The Role

    The role of the Retail Commercial Representative is to ensure that farmers are buying affordable and quality farm inputs from their nearest agrovets.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Continuously map-out new/ potential retailers within the designated region
  • Onboard and manage retailers in the designated market region
  • Deliver on agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Timely resolve business challenges with retailers within the designated market region
  • Prepare weekly market intelligence report and daily activity reports for the designated market region as per defined reporting templates
  • Maintain an up-to-date product listing (catalogue) of products within the designated market region

    Your success in this role will be measured by:
  • No of sales from each outlet
  • Engagement and performance of agrovets/retailers
    in your designated market region
  • Data management and collection

    We are looking for candidates with:
  • At least 1-year experience working in sales/account management preferably in FMCGs
  • Knowledge and understanding of the locals and farming trends in the communities in a given area,
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Experience of working directly with small-scale farmers and the farming communities will be an added advantage
  • Ability to communicate in the local language will be an added advantage
